With the Royal visitors having just departed our shores,everyone is talking of the young Royals at the moment. How they have lifted the spirits of ordinary people and how the clothes and
apparel that the Duchess is wearing have boosted the fashion economy.
Lets face it, the republican issue seems to have died a death in Australia so lets discuss some of our thoughts about the Monarchy. To some, our thoughts maybe mayhem he he.
The Queen has always appeared to be a good woman and a strong figure head and probably will be around as long as her mother. On the other hand we have the heir to the throne "Charles" 'the longest heir in waiting ever' sitting there waiting to take the throne. Come on Charles!!!!!! You chose Camilla and your uncle chose a woman for love and abdicated the throne and you haven't even sat in it yet. Wouldn't it be nice for you to go live happily ever after as Mr and Mrs Windsor of Cornwall and not have to think about the pressures of waving and opening buildings? Let William and Catherine have their moment in the sun. God knows Charles, I think its time for you to grab an umbrella and walk hand in hand with Camilla away from the sun and let your son wait patiently. You're 65 and your wife is 66 - just enjoy your retirement - take up scrapbooking or buy a few ponies and get a hobby farm, (there must be something you could afford) or write another book - here is a title to get you started 'In the Wings'.
Give the young couple a chance! And while we are on the subject of royals - why can't some of those stay at home Princes, Princesses and titled go and serve as Governor Generals of the various countries of the realm - they may just get to know the family business first hand.
Don't worry guys you still get to play dress-ups and go to parties just slightly different weather so you may get to wear different dress-ups.
